Preface

Over past 37 + years as a part of my professional duties ,I have travelled numerous places , both India and abroad. Lord has been very merciful that He has given me opportunity of fulfilling my numero one hobby travelling. But this book is not a travelogue. This book is of much higher subject. During all these travels on many occasions, I have faced Miracles, experiences which cannot be explained in logical term. Now at the slog overs of my life’s innings, when I am learning Krishna Consciousness, I am realising that in each case there had been intervention of Lord and without the same even I could have not survived to tell you the stories. These incidents are mostly known to many of my close relatives and many of my friends. But most of them have been equally surprised and collectively they gave me courage to write some of them. I published my Bengali version Lucky Me in 2022 and the same is available in Amazon and Flipkart.

In this book in addition to the incident narrated in that book I have added few more incidents and this time planning to document in English for the benefit of my friends /colleagues who do not enjoy reading Bengali. You have a choice of flipping the pages and read any one as they are all independent incidents but reading in sequence possibly will help you to derive a pattern.

one more objective of my documenting these experiences are that I know all of you have similar stories and may be my experiences will resonate yours and will prompt you to document as well.

Before proceeding further I bow my head to Srila Prabhupad for His divine teachings, my worshipped Deities Lord Jagannath,Baladev,Subhadra ji and also offer my obeisance to Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu and Prabhu Nityananada without whose mercy I would not be able to understand the bigger perspective.

My sincere thanks to my wife Sangeeta who took all pain in reading the stories in the raw form from manuscript and suggesting improvement, my close college friends of Jadavpur University Electronics 86 Batch who have added their valuable comments and encouraged me to write each episode, and last but not the least readers of my Bengali book ,who have shown deep interest and also offered valuable critic views.

I close the Preface with Verse 9.4 of Bhagavad Gita which claims He is present everywhere and we need the eye to see Him

By Me, in My unmanifested form, this entire universe is pervaded. All beings are in Me, but I am not in them.
