Please accept our Humble Obeisances. Only by your mercy we could come in touch with your teachings for past 1.5 years. Every day before starting of our day we worship you & pray for your blessings. We know we are so fallen without your special mercy we may not please Lord Nitai-Gaurchandra.
When we came to know from your life story the amount of hardship and struggle you have taken only for improvement of our lives we feel so much grateful & blessed. The Song Jodi Prabhupad Na hoito is so appropriate.
You have built a Home where all of us can stay and remain connected with Krsna , also can contribute to creating world of Harmony. In past one year we have visited Mayapur, Vrindavan and stayed in temple Guest Houses. Every time we have seen the magnanimity of ISKCON temples we have felt overwhelmed remembering the love you have bestowed upon us. We have read the short books written by you. In each book we can feel your causeless mercy in translating difficult topics in lucid language & with example. Oh Master, you had expertise in every area be it cooking,deity dressing, Worshipping kirtan,katha,book distribution, fund raising and so many .We always feel that only a direct associate of Krishna may have so many qualities. When we try to do even a single of them, we struggle and more we try ,we understand your greatness.
O Srila Prabhupad ,we are Bengali by birth and have grown in West Bengal .. It is our misfortune that we have taken so much time to know about you. Please bless us, that the rest of the years , which we have left with us, may spend in worshipping you. May please bless us we are able to dedicate our life in your service and develop attitude of followership.
Oh Prabhupad ! You did not even know us but for our benefit you have taken so much hardship and I know you and despite of that I do not read your books. I see benefit of your teaching every day but despite of the same I do not indulge in it.
The best way to pay homage to you is to follow your teachings. We are trying to follow the same in our daily life howsoever small way it may be. One such incidence we shall like to put across for your kind consideration.
In your book Elevation to Krishna Consciousness chapter 1 “Choosing Human and Animal Life” and Bhagavat Gita Sloka 7.4,7.5 Purport you have extensively spoken of the body, soul and relevance to Krishna’s Energies.You have taught us how to shed the false ego and consider us as eternal servitors of Lord Krsna and accept every situation as His mercy. This knowledge has saved me recently.
In one of my clients projects, we have used this lessons in resolving some critical conflict between my client representatives and our team. The issue was pursuing for many weeks and every time our deliveries we were being rejected. We were earning bad reputation. We applied your teachings and realized that for quite some time I was considering me as an important person and my false ego was coming my way to look the issue from customer’s perspective. also, I was expecting to be glorified by all team members in each situation.
I realized as a servitor of Lord my False Ego has no role to expect glorification, rather I should accept the short comings & put my best effort and consider the project as a service to Lord and leave the result to His lotus feet. This customer recently has provided me a repeat order with appreciation note. This would not have been possible without your mercy & books. Hence Thank you Prabhupada in guiding in our daily dealings. We are immensely indebted to you as we feel you help us in several difficult situation.
