Hello all founding members ,I have gone through the document posted by Satya and it is quite comprehensive and I mostly agree to the same. So I am not going to repeat the same. What I shall communicate through this document to express why I feel I am part of this community and what value I bring on the table.
I am associated with Manufacturing Industry for 35 + years in different capacity. Post my engineering in 1986 ,I have acquired Certification in Business Process Reengineering from NITIE Mumbai,OHSAS 18001,ISO9001,BS 13000 & Safety System ( Melborne ,Australia).and recently ISO27001 ,CISA . I have started my career in area of Plant automation and have worked in shop floor as all levels of automation like L1: Basic Automation,L2 : Process Automation( involving Math modeling,Simulation etc),L3: Manufacturing Execution System,L4: SAP L5: BI Layer . In addition I have hands on experience in areas of IT Infrastructure and have managed numerous project in that area. Rockwell Automation,L&T,TATA Steel,Tata BlueScope Steel,Adani Group,Viraj Profile and recently UPL are few organisations where I have been associated with. I have stayed in 7 States in India and 4 locations abroad during my tenure. I have authored a fiction book which is based on my Life experience and the same is available at leading on site stores.
I am a deep spiritual person and believe in two principles:
Love God & do Service by
Surrendering unto HIM
I want to serve His creation and as explained in Verse Chapter 3 Text 35 :
It is far better to discharge one’s prescribed duties, even though faultily, than another’s duties perfectly. Destruction in the course of performing one’s own duty is better than engaging in another’s duties, for to follow another’s path is dangerous.
Therefore I have dedicated my life in Serving others and bring improvement in their lives with the regular work I do and the knowledge I have acquired. and I pray to God that he gives me capacity and mercy so that I can continue do that.
I am also arrogantly Indian and believe that Indian Industries have potential to grow to the world leader and only area where they are lacking is deploying adequate automation technique. To speak truly the mindset is missing. The vendors working in this area are not doing justice to the growth as they are more concerned about their profit and do not think of the customer organisation
The little knowledge I have acquired can thus be used to bring this culture change and help Indian industries in a way that they can help the country grow.
I have a few clear thoughts in this area:
Analyse the Industrial automation need in their context of business
Suggest the cost effective solution and
be a partner in the journey of transformation
In Our Association you may have many who are core IT person and much better than me but the automation knowledge I bring in can be a compliment to your effort. and thus we can therefore design an integrated Shop floor to Top Floor Solution.
